Anaheim, CA– January 22, 2015 - - Magnetune, a revolutionary new guitar tuner that attaches magnetically to the guitar’s tuning pegs or strap button without the use of clips, was unveiled at NAMM by Korg, one of the leading distributors of music products.
Slightly larger than a soda bottle cap, Magnetune is a compact, lightweight and easy to use tuner that can be left on the instrument during performance. It rotates 360 degrees and fits both right and left-handed guitars and also attaches to the metallic part of any instrument so it can be used at any angle. When attached to the back of pegs, it is virtually invisible to the audience. Without the weight of clips, Magnetune is slightly less than an ounce (with the battery).
LEDs indicate the string number, tuning direction and amount of discrepancy, so the player knows at a glance which string is being tuned. Magnetune has a battery life of 30 hours and an auto power-off function that turns off after three minutes of silence, for further power saving.
