Ses paketleri .mnlgxdpreset uzantısı ile biten “önceden ayarlanmış” dosyalar şeklinde dağıtılır. Bir ses paketini içe aktarmak için, önceden ayarlanmış dosyayı üzerine sürükleyerek minilogue xd Ses kütüphanesi'ni başlatın. Özel osilatörler ve efektler, .mnlgxdunitt uzantısı ile biten bir "kullanıcı birimi" dosyası biçiminde dağıtılır. Bir osilatör veya efekt eklemek için, kullanıcı birimi dosyasını sürükleyip Ses kütüphanesi'ndeki ilgili listeye bırakın ve minilogue xd'nize yüklemek için SEND ALL düğmesine basın. Fabrika Ayarlı Kullanıcı Osilatörleri: Waves

Minilogue xd, bir kullanıcı osilatörü olan Waves ile önyüklüdür. Bu osilatör, kullanıcı osilatörleri için mevcut 16 slotdan birinde depolanır. İki ana wavetable osilatörden ve isteğe bağlı olarak bir ring modülasyon kaynağı olarak kullanılabilecek ek bir alt dalgadan oluşur. Lo-fi etkisi için mixli çıkışın bit derinliği azaltılabilir.
