Since 1995, Korg’s subsidiary, Korg UK has proudly called Milton Keynes, England, home. Their presence in the community has included support for local sports teams and involvement in music-making events aimed at inspiring individuals of all ages to embrace the joy of playing musical instruments.

During the global pandemic, the commitment to staff wellbeing led to the creation of the KorgFit program. This initiative challenged employees to virtually travel the distance from the Milton Keynes office to Korg Inc. headquarters in Tokyo through activities like cycling, running, walking, and swimming. KorgFit proved to be a resounding success, promoting both physical health and mental wellbeing among team members.

Recent initiatives aimed at environmental sustainability include installation of solar panels at their offices to harness renewable energy, a dropship program for music retailers to reduce shipping distances, adoption of a flexible working model for office-based staff and transitioning the company car fleet to hybrid engines.

These are just some small ways that Korg UK is trying to minimise their environmental impact while continuing to innovate and support their local community.
